Our next day trip was to Staunton. We love small mountain towns, and we’d never been there before. Our friends Buddy and Jill live super close to Staunton and we wanted to stop by their farm to see them as well. They were so sweet and generous and let us spend the night! I will tell you the rest of the story next week, but here is a teaser: the cows escape. I am not kidding.
And as I do most Fridays, here are this week’s Highs and Lows!
Highs:
- Picking out Thanksgiving Dinner invites!
- We got a new fall quilt for the living room. Its so pretty!
- The Office. Jared has seen it before and wanted me to love it so we started watching it last night. I kid you not, I feel sad for Michael every single episode.
Lows:
- I had some sort of miniature cold yesterday. Im not sure what it was but I woke up with a small fever, an achey body, and a swollen/sore throat. Today I am feeling more normal, but it just reminded me how much more you have to take care of your body when it starts to get colder. Time to start eating that citrus fruit!

I can’t wait to hear this story about the cows!! Girl, I can’t believe you are just now seeing the Office! It’s one of my all-time favorite shows. My mom would always say that she can’t stand Michael! I just think he’s hilarious.
