The lace wrap was cut off of Lara’s mother’s wedding gown. I love details like that because they are so special!
Lara and Steven saw each other before the ceremony, commonly known as a first look. I know this bucks tradition, but it is truly something to consider. The benefits greatly outweigh the negatives that you are imaging in your head. I haven’t met a single person who has done this that regretted it. I am so thankful that they chose to do this, because Steven got caught up and was running about 30 minutes late. They would have zero portraits if they didnt do this first look. the moment the ceremony ended, it poured and their beautiful backyard started to flood.
