New Planner.

by Lauryn on January 3, 2013 in Business,Personal

Finding a new planner for the year is serious business.  I have tried to use my iPhone as my calendar, but I just dont like it.  I like paper, and I LOVE crossing things off.  There is nothing like it!

I was on twitter a week or so ago, and one of my favorite bloggers asked her followers for Planner recommendations.  I was so happy because I knew I could also use peoples suggestions for myself!  I immediately was drawn to one that a few people mentioned and Erin also said she was going to order it.  Success!  Multiple recommendations and it had won over one of my favorite bloggers.

Here it is!  The Day Desinger by Whitney English.  I just ordered mine, and cant wait to get it in the mail! From the website, it seems to have everything I need: full month calendars, day by day planning, and a yearly calendar overview.  It also has inspirational quotes each day which I love!

I also am really excited that it is spiral bound.  That feature is super convenient when writing on the left side of the book near the seam.  Am I right?!

So, what planner did you get for next year?  Or, do you just love your iPhone? Id love to hear!

oooh girl. I love having a planner. It’s just not the same when using a phone/iPad.
I purchased mine from target. I’m so excited to start using it! Happy 2013!!! :)

I get a Lilly Pulitzer planner every year. It has become a tradition. This year, my Mama got me the jumbo agenda for Christmas. It is huge and has just the space I need to organize my business, school, and personal life all in the same place! LOVE your new planner. I like the idea of an inspirational quote for each day! :)

I need to get a new planner and now this has me on the look-out since it looks like that one is sold out! I’ve started using my iPhone – but I like to have it on paper too. :)

Just ordered my first May Book….I wanted something functional and cute and small enough to tote around with me to house personal/school/business things all in one place! I’d love to see pictures of the inside of yours when it comes!

I saw the same post! I looked at all of them and ended up with the momAgenda. It arrived yesterday and I spent the evening after church adding all of my dates. Don’t you just love writing in a new, crisp, clean calendar?

@Christy Well, this is what I get for pre-posting a blog post and trying to order one today: its sold out. I did see on her Instagram that they are trying to round up a list of retail stores that still have them. I called one she mentioned and got the last dated one. If you really like it, I would follow her Twitter (she also said she is trying to get some more into production but it would take a few weeks) and Instagram and I bet you can snag one up!!

I just picked up a simple one from Target, but it’s my FAVORITE. It’s made by Greenroom, has a nice hardback cover, and is spiral bound just like yours!! In the front there’s a list of holidays/dates for the next 2 years, a 2 year overview, each month has an overview with a page for notes and a graph, the weeks are all spread out, and in the back there’s more space for notes/contacts/resources/and even geography!! Also, side note, you’ve totally inspired me to blog about my new planner :) Here’s to being obsessed with our yearly planners!!!

For 2012 I tried to be all modern & use my Droid Charge, but as things got busy in the fall I feared missing something so I bought a Lilly Pulitzer spiral bound Agenda that goes from Aug 2012 thru Dec 2013 & LOVE it. I especially like the cute stickers to use for special dates!

I love using a planner and currently use a Filofax – one of my goals for this year is to use it more as I sometimes forget *looks innocent*! :)
