Posting my 25 before 25 list has really kicked my tush into high gear to get a bunch of those things crossed off!! Like, I signed up to read the Bible in 90 days. Yes, the ENTIRE bible. Im crazy. The reading plan is actually really easy, and its only about 20 chapters a day. I also scheduled a fun trip to DC for my 25th birthday and that we will take the Train for! I made a goal of reading 2 books a week to meet my 25 books goal. I think I can, I think I can… I know there are some things on there that just wont happen, but I am going to keep plugging away at it and see how things play out. Who knows, maybe I will have time to paint the entire UPSTAIRS before September?! (Bahahahaha, who am I kidding?!)
Either way, I am really glad that its out there in the blogsphere to keep me accountable. And, as usual on Fridays, here are this weeks Highs and Lows!
Highs:
- Reading One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. Game Changer. Life Changing book. Read it.
- We are almost done with the downstairs tasks we wanted to get done before the wedding next weekend! I think the only thing we wont be able to really get to is Art, which isnt so bad because making Art and picking out Art takes a long time so I am happy to not have that pressure.
- New Blinds in the Living Room and Dining Room!! I love them!
Lows:
- Had to take the Cats to the vet this morning. They are super well behaved but listening to them cry and cry in the car just tears my heart to pieces. Lord, help me when I have my own baby.
This picture makes me laugh… Hey there bike shorts! Credit: Katie Nesbitt!

Have you ever read Jodi Picoult books? They are generally pretty fast reads for me cuz I can’t put ‘em down! However, you’re not allowed to read the ending of her books, because it is the endings that make the book, so maybe they wouldn’t work well for you.
Good luck with 2 books a week! AND the Bible in 90 days. You go girl!
HAHA!!! Bike shorts are the best!! Have you read the Hunger Games series?? Those are fast reads!
holy COW. that’s a lot of readin’! but, GO YOU! i love how motivated you are, and it inspires me to aspire to read more. (like, to take less than 2 or 3 months to read one book. ahem.) and let me know how the Bible-in-90-days goes! i only read 1 – 2 chapters a day, and then a little bit in a devotional book. i’m just not a fast reader, so committing to more than that intimidates me….but it’s also exciting to think about. so, i can’t wait to hear how it goes!
p.s. definitely loving the bike shorts. so chic.
