Jason and Laura met while teaching non verbal children with autism in an elementary school. Their classrooms happened to be side by side. Go ahead and read that again and let yourself fill up with love for this couple. There are as awesome as they sound!! They also have an ADORABLE 120 lb Rhodesian ridgeback/ Pit mix, named Gage. Jared and I were met at the door by him, and he covered us in kisses and happy barks. He makes an appearance, don’t worry!
This wedding was a special one for me. Laura has a twin sister Erin and I met them and their family when I second shot for Katie Stoops. Such a beautiful wedding. can’t wait to see Katie’s post! Well, Laura and Jason decided they would have a smaller wedding and in turn, buy a house together! So that is where we started…we had to make sure we could included Gage!

We headed into Leesburg, VA to take some portraits around the ceremony location, the Courthouse steps (!) and the reception location directly across the street, Lightfoot Restaurant!
We stepped inside a coffee shop to cool off and get a drink, and I wrote them a fun message on the wall!
It was so stinkin’ hot. As soon as they had kissed Jason’s brother threw him a washcloth!
I was only with Jason and Laura for three hours, so I took full advantage of photographing the gorgeous food!
