Its hard for me to know where to start with this blog post. Some of our dearest friends were married a couple weeks ago in our backyard. Basically their friends threw them a wedding and it was such a fun night. Very, very, very hot. But so fun. Michael and Lindsay were engaged in November and completely overwhelmed by the cost and options available to make a wedding happen. A friend, Lacy, thought we should give them a surprise wedding. That thought turned into friends throwing them a wedding, kind of like a birthday party! I could try to list out the things everyone contributed, but I would inevitably forget something, so I will just say that all of their friends gathered up their ideas and talents and it went off without a hitch!
Im just happy they are married!! You may recognize them from their Christmas Tree Farm session a while ago… So without further adieu, enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
To keep cost low, we just used vases and things we already had! I loved the Yarn Backdrop Emily made!
I love the picture on the left… Michael DID NOT take his eyes off Lindsay the ENTIRE time!
We had pretty light that evening…
Our friend Josh officiated the ceremony…he promised to keep his remarks short because of the heat. He was such a trooper in that suit!
Justin and Jared sang during the ceremony, it was so lovely to hear their voices and watch Lindsay and Michael take communion and pray together. Im crying just remembering it!
First hug afterwards!!
I have beautiful friends…
LOVED Michael’s tie choice and Lindsay’s dress!
Stacey brought the cupcakes! Such cute little hearts!
Doughnut Cake! Boston Creme’s from Country Sytle= DELISH.
The end! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lynch!! Its an honor to be your friend, and to have been a part of your day. We all love you both SO MUCH.
