25 before 25 Update.

I thought you deserved an update on my 25 things before 25 list. Ill just warn you, its not pretty!

25 Things:

  1. Knit a scarf.
  2. Fly in a plane. 
  3. Take a road trip. {This is scheduled for the last weekend in August!}
  4. Retry gardening. {Jared and I had a garden, but we neglected it and it became weed ridden.}
  5. Shoot a personal photography series.
  6. Run a 5k. 
  7. Read 25 books.
  8. Try 25 new recipes, 5 of them baked goods.  {About half way there!}
  9. Retry bread making.
  10. Ride on a train.
  11. Go on a cruise! {This one is already scheduled!}
  12. Visit a new state. {This is scheduled for the last weekend in August!}
  13. Start a journal, and keep it up.
  14. Repaint all the trim in the house. {Almost done with the downstairs!}
  15. Repaint all rooms in the house, except the office. {Downstairs is DONE!}
  16. Paint front and back door RED.
  17. Hang Jared’s hammock.
  18. Pay off CC’s and Scion.
  19. Finish bedroom redo. {Just a few more things and this is DONE!}
  20. Buy a new swimsuit. {I haven’t bought a swim suit in about 4 years.}
  21. Create some DIY art for the Bedroom and Kitchen
  22. Write letters to family members I always write to, but have neglected this year.
  23. Create a habit of walking 3x a week.
  24. Read the Old Testament.
  25. Begin a true prayer life.

Yikes. I have a lot to do in 3 months!!

You’re almost there! I love this idea and love what you have chosen to do. I just might have to copy you! Thanks for sharing with us.

dude! i can help with so many of these. let’s go yarn shopping soon for some big fat scarf yarn and then knit and drink coffee together! and if we make dinner for our cute men soon, we can totally knock out like 3 recipes in one meal. i am also trying to implement a walking plan on my non-yoga days – let’s try it together! and as for the journal…i know it’s not as fun-sounding, but have you tried typing it? in charlotte last month, one of my professors told us about how he wrote a novel in 7 months using the goal of writing 250 words a day. if you write more, great! but you only HAVE to do 250, and 250 isn’t scary. you could totally use that goal to start journaling! and if you’re typing, that would go so quickly. :) anyway, sorry for writing you a book here. love you!
